Pechanga casino reopening

The Temecula area casino was the first casino in Riverside County to announce a reopening date, though its opening follows a number of other Southern California tribal casinos, including Valley View Casino & Hotel Harrah’s Resort Southern California Pala Casino, Spa & Resort Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa Cahuilla Casino Hotel Soboba Casino Resort and the Agua Caliente Casinos in Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. Pechanga was among the first of the tribal casinos to close in Southern California, shuttering March 16 before temporarily laying off employees as of April 1 as the shutdown continued. So far, casino officials have not announced when those things might reopen or return. Pechanga’s poker room and off-track betting facility also remain closed. Its pool, spa, Eagle’s Nest Nightclub and Pechanga Comedy Club remain closed and some of its eateries, such as the buffet, also remain closed.

(June 1, 2020) On Monday, June 1 at 12 p.m., Pechanga Resort Casino, located just outside of Temecula, Calif., reopened to the public. The casino does not plan to hold any concerts or major events for the immediate future. Pechanga Reopens with Limited Operations. Pechanga’s hotel will begin accepting reservations starting July 1. Monday’s opening was just the first phase of the resort getting back to business as usual. At Pechanga’s Temptations Food Walk food court, some tables appeared to have been removed and the remaining tables were spread out at distances of six feet or more.
